The Tennessee Valley gets its storms from March to May and again in the fall, and the morning after there are limbs in the yard, a fence on the ground and shingles in the beds. We haul it. We also take the ordinary yard debris: brush from a lot line, old landscaping timbers, dead shrubs, the pile behind the shed.
After a declared storm the city and the county run their own debris pickups; we tell you what they will collect for free and haul the rest.
What the job involves
- Photo of the yard; quote by load
- Crew with saws for anything that needs cutting down
- Loaded and hauled, usually within a day or two after a storm
- Yard raked clear
Storm cleanup across the county
East Brainerd and Ooltewah learned what a tornado does in April 2020, and every spring brings a smaller version somewhere in the county, a night of wind that drops oaks across Hixson or a tree on a shed in Collegedale. On those mornings we book by neighbourhood so the truck stays close.
